I took the day off from work today for a couple reasons. One was to give myself an extra long weekend, as Monday is a holiday. The second was to take the girls to the Boston Children's Museum. Why didn't we just go tomorrow or Monday? To avoid big crowds. I think it worked out nicely, because it was an excellent experience today. It wasn't very crowded at all.
The girls had the best time. We probably spent about three hours there. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the girls' favorite part was the
Arthur exhibit. They also had a
Peep's World exhibit, which is a newish show on PBS (as far as I know) that the girls really like.
There were a couple sections that were more suited for slightly older kids, so we'll definitely be making another trip either closer to the end of the year or this time next year, when the girls are older. I think they'll enjoy it even more. But regardless of that, the girls had the best time today. Kris and I even had a great time!
